The World Health Organisation (WHO) has updated both the Africa and the Americas yellow fever vaccination recommendations maps.
The change to the Africa map is the addition of a demarcation line indicating the border between Sudan and the Republic of South Sudan which gained independence from Sudan in 2011.
Changes to the Americas map indicate a widening area where vaccination is recommended in the south of Brazil, including the states of Parana, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Sao Paulo.
The yellow fever vaccination recommendations maps will be updated soon on the relevant Destination pages of TRAVAX.
