The World Health Organization has published the estimated tuberculosis (TB) incidence rates worldwide for 2011.
We have updated the tuberculosis incidence table on TRAVAX to reflect any changes and updated the information on countries with an estimated TB incidence of 40 per 100 000 population or greater.
Countries with incidence rates between 40-99 per 100 000 population are categorized as 'TB is common in this country'.
Countries with incidence rates of 100 per 100 000 population or greater, are categorized as 'TB is very common in this country'.
