The dengue fever situation is worsening in Thailand. More than 4000 cases of dengue fever are being reported weekly at present, this is an unprecedented increase in incidence.
The epidemic is yet to peak and is expected to reach more than triple the average number of cases per year. Cases have been reported from primarily southern and northern provinces so far this year. Most affected provinces are Krabi, Phuket, Phangnga, and Songkhla.
Advice for Travellers
