Health Protection Scotland has been informed by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) that the company has taken the decision to discontinue the manufacture and distribution of quadrivalent (A,C,W-135,Y) polysaccharide meningococcal vaccine (ACWY Vax).
Stock will probably start to become scarce in the UK from July 2014.
