Four new poliomyelitis cases have been reported in Pakistan this week. Two from South Waziristan, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, one from Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and one from Karachi, Sindh. The most recent case is from Khiorangi, until now a polio-free district.
The total number of cases for 2014 is 47.
