GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has advised of an interruption to the supply of Havrix Monodose® and Havrix Junior Monodose® due to technical issues in factory. It is anticipated this may continue until the first quarter of 2016.
Stock is limited; GSK anticipate that supplies for Havrix Monodose® may last until Q2 2015 and supplies Havrix Junior Monodose® until Q1 2015.
The UK market will continue to be supplied with hepatitis A & B combinations (Twinrix® and Ambirix®). There should be no interruption to the planned re-supply of hepatitis A and typhoid combined vaccine (Hepatyrix®) from the first quarter of 2015.
