Re: Revised recommendations for yellow fever vaccination and Certificate Requirements 2015
The World Health Organization (WHO) has published the updated recommendations for yellow fever vaccination and certificate requirements, submitted by member states, for 2015. Some countries have included a statement on validity of the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) (i.e. 10 years or lifelong). This follows the WHO declaration in May 2013 that protection from yellow fever vaccination is considered to be lifelong for immunocompetent individuals. It should be noted that not all countries state their position with regards ICVP validity.
