The World Health Organisation (WHO) advised that Egypt has reported 3 new H5N1 avian flu cases in people that have been exposed to poultry. To date a total of 8 cases have been reported globally this year, all of them in Egypt.

Travellers experiencing severe flu like symptoms within 10 days of returning from China, should contact their GP and inform them of their recent travel to China.
