Initial feedback on the redeveloped TRAVAX site indicates that users are utilising the suitcase facility more than ever. Having the three clickable suitcase items at the head of every country specific page makes this even quicker and easier. The suitcase item can be added with one click by clicking on Add to suitcase +
Users can access the suitcase function whichever page on TRAVAX you happen to be in, just by clicking on the blue ‘suitcase’ tab at the top right hand corner of the main screen, choosing any additional suitcase items you wish to send from the full menu of advice sheets and clicking on ‘email’.
The advice sheets selected for the suitcase contain information taken from fitfortravel website and not TRAVAX. This is so that the information you send to your traveller is written in a user-friendly way for the public. The advice sheet that your traveller gets, is therefore not exactly the same as the corresponding page on TRAVAX. This also applies to the country specific pages. So for example, where a TRAVAX country page has vaccines that are only ‘selectively advised’ i.e. for use in exceptional circumstances, these may not appear on the fitfortravel country page.
