Vaccine availability Update from GlaxoSmithKline

The following is an update provided by GlaxoSmithKline(GSK) regarding vaccine supply as of 14 December 2017:

  • Engerix B Paediatric is Back in Stock. Engerix B Paediatric will be made available to PHE priority group 4 from the 13th of December 2017. This vaccine was previously under the Hepatitis B supply management process and therefore had limited availability.
  • Menveo is anticipated to be Out of Stock in the UK from February 2018. GSK expect these supply issues to be eased later in 2018 and for supply to return to normal by 2019.
  • Typherix (Typhoid Polysaccharide vaccine) and Hepatyrix (Hepatitis A (inactivated) and Typhoid Polysaccharide vaccine (adsorbed) to be discontinued.
