The following is an update provided by Public health England
(PHE) regarding the supply situation for vaccines purchased directly from the manufacturers (e.g. for travel and risk groups):
Diphtheria, Tetanus and Poliomyelitis (inactivated) Vaccine
Sanofi Pasteur: Revaxis is now available to order without restrictions.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B Adult:
- GSK: Supplies of Engerix B PFS singles and packs of 10 are available.
- GSK: Supplies of Engerix B vials singles and packs of 10 are available.
- GSK:Fendrix is available.
- MSD: Limited supplies of HBVAXPRO 10μg are available and are expected to last until the end of October 2018. Supplies are expected to be restored in 2020.
- MSD: Limited supplies of HBVAXPRO 40μg are available.
Hepatitis B Paediatric:
- GSK: Engerix B Paediatric singles are available.
- MSD: HBVAXPRO 5μg are available.
Hepatitis A Vaccine
Hepatitis A Adult:
- GSK: Havrix Adult PFS singles and packs of tens are available.
- Sanofi Pasteur: Avaxim is currently available for orders without any restrictions.
- MSD: VAQTA Adult is out of stock until 2019.
Hepatitis A Paediatric:
- GSK: Havrix Paediatric singles and packs of tens are available.
- MSD: VAQTA Paediatric is currently available.
Measles, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine
- MSD: Limited M-M-RvaxPro® stocks are currently available for the private market and for the National Immunisation Programme.
Combined Hepatitis A and B
- GSK: Twinrix Adult and Paediatric presentations are available.
- GSK: Ambirix is available.
Combined Hepatitis A and Typhoid
- Sanofi Pasteur: Viatim is available to order without any restrictions.
Meningitis ACWY Vaccine
- GSK: Menveo is currently unavailable until late 2018.
- Pfizer: Nimenrix is currently available for private sales and there is no impact on the National Immunisation Programme.
Typhoid
- Sanofi Pasteur: Typhim is available to order without restrictions.
- PaxVax: Vivotif is available.
Rabies Vaccine
- GSK: Supply of Rabipur is currently under constraint and supply is being prioritised for post exposure prophylaxis. Resupply anticipated in November 2018.
- Sanofi Pasteur: Has limited supply of rabies vaccine, for more information, please call Sanofi Pasteur Customer services 0148 350 5515.
Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine:
- Valneva: Supplies of IXIARO are available without restriction.
Yellow Fever Vaccine:
- Sanofi: Supplies of Stamaril are available without restriction.
