Updates to Country Yellow Fever Certificate Requirements

World Health Organisation have recently published updates to the yellow fever recommendations and certificate requirements for some countries in International Travel and Health (ITH)

Updates have been made to the individual country pages on Travax. A summary of the updates is below:

  • Botswana: Minor change to the wording regarding transit passengers
  • Brazil: All of Piaui state is now listed as a yellow fever risk area, previously only designated areas were in the risk area
  • Colombia: Certificate requirements for transit passengers have been clarified
  • Panama:  A certificate is now required if passengers are arriving from a country with an active outbreak
  • Sudan: Information that a certificate may be required for passengers departing the country has been removed
