Message to TRAVAX Users

The Travel and International Health (TIH) team here at Health Protection Scotland, would like to extend our Season’s Greetings to all our TRAVAX users, and to thank you for all your support and feedback throughout the year.

The TIH team always endeavour to give evidence based information that is both user friendly and practical.

Did you know, during 2018 we did the following:

• Revised and updated just under 100 disease and advice pages
• Carried out individual country-specific reviews on all countries relating to:
  • Yellow fever guidance
  • Japanese encephalitis risk
  • Global TB incidence
  • Typhoid recommendations
  • Meningococcal recommendations
  • Female genital mutilation
  • Made changes to malaria advice and malaria maps of 11 countries
• Posted approximately 400 News and Outbreak items
• Answered just under 1000 TRAVAX support helpline calls.

And much more ….
