Public Health England has recently updated the yellow fever chapter 
of the Green Book.
The vaccine contraindications section has been revised to clarify the advice regarding thymectomy and incidental thymectomy.
Thymectomy is addressed in the Travax yellow fever FAQ page, and this has been updated to reflect the amendments to the Green Book.
Health professionals are reminded of the importance of taking a detailed medical history as part of the risk assessment process during a travel health consultation.
