NES Travel Health Education Resource

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) has developed a workforce education resource to help support healthcare practitioners working within NHS Scotland travel health services to develop the knowledge and skills they require to safely and effectively deliver the NHS Scotland Level 2 travel health components specified within the Vaccine Transformation Programme (VTP). This resource will be of interest to healthcare practitioners who:

  • are new to travel health service provision
  • are experienced in travel health service provision looking to refresh their knowledge

The travel health programme comprises of an interactive e-learning resource comprising of three units covering:

  • Travel Health Risk Assessment
  • NHS Travel Vaccines
  • Multiple Choice Question Assessment

In addition, a range of supplementary resources to support practitioners are available.
