Media reports that at least 1595 cases of tuberculosis were recorded from January to September this year (2011) in the central Huambo province. This was 190 cases less than the same period last year (2010). The cases were recorded in the municipal hospitals of Huambo, Caála, Bailundo, Longonjo, Londuimbali, Mungo, Katchiungo and Ukuma.
