Hepatitis A in Mexico

A hepatitis A outbreak in communities in Veracruz has been reported. The outbreak is affecting more than 100 children, particularly students from 3 schools in the Lazaro Cardenas and Santa Ana communities.

Advice for Travellers

Those visiting affected areas should be immunised. A good standard of food, water and personal hygiene is also recommended.
