Yellow Fever in Cameroon

23 January 2012

Since 2 November 2011, a yellow fever outbreak has been affecting the North Region of Cameroon. More than 20 cases of yellow fever have been reported in eight of the 15 districts of the North Region. WHO, who have yet to confirm the cases, will organise a mass vaccination campaign and develop guidelines for the management of yellow fever cases in collaboration with national authorities.
