The head of Epidemiology at departmental Health Services stated on 26 Jan 2012, that so far this January the cases of haemorrhagic fever have increased in Mamore and Itenez provinces in Beni. Six suspected cases of hemorrhagic fever have been reported of whom 3 are hospitalised in San Ramon and one in Magdalena.
