Between 12 and 18 Mar 2012, a total of 3,091 cases of acute watery diarrhoea (AWD) with eight related deaths have been reported. Western Bahr el Ghazal and WES had the highest incidence rates. Also a total of 1,396 cases of acute bloody diarrhoea have been reported during the same period.
