The health authority of Menoufiya governorate has isolated 13 suspected human cases of avian influenza (H5N1) infection. Laboratory results for the suspected cases are pending.
At least 12 human cases of avian influenza (H5N1) infection have been recorded in Egypt in 2015. Of those, 2 have been fatal cases, 3 have recovered and 7 continue to receive treatment.
