Ross River Virus in Australia

Ross River virus infections in Queensland have more than tripled from the same period last year. More than 380 individuals have been infected since the beginning of 2015, up from 120 in 2014 and 125 in 2013.

The south-east corner of the state has been worst affected, with almost 150 cases in the Brisbane metro health areas and another 77 on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.
