Dengue Virus Infection in Australia (Update)

Cases of dengue fever continue to be reported in two areas of the state of Queensland in the northeast of Australia. In Cairns, cases were first reported on 11 December 2014, and 31 confirmed cases have since been reported. Tully in El Arish first reported dengue fever cases on 14 January 2015, and a total of 38 cases have since been recorded.
