Advice for Travellers

Malaria risk in Greece is due exclusively to P. vivax from May to October. Risk is very limited and confined to the villages of the Evrotas delta area in Lakonia district. There is no risk in tourist areas.

The use of standard mosquito biting prevention measures is strongly encouraged in risk areas.
