Media sources have reported 5 suspected cases of yellow fever in Central Congo province and 2 deaths. According to the provincial medical inspector, all reported cases have come from neighbouring Angola.
There is a risk of yellow fever and vaccination is advised for travellers (unless contraindicated). Travellers should also take steps to avoid mosquito bites.
