Yellow Fever in Peru

The media has reported that the Junín Regional Health Office has announced 3 yellow fever (YF) deaths in the last 2 months after 8 years without any YF cases. The Junín Regional Health Office reportedly issued an alert following the reoccurrence of YF in the central forest and ordered the installation of a YF vaccination centre in the Pedregal area, the place of entry into Chanchamayo province.
