Outbreaks of Cholera continue in Yemen, Somalia, Kenya and Tanzania (Update 1)

Yemen: On 31 May 2017 the World Health Organisation (WHO) Yemen Country Office reported (via Twitter) that more than 65,300 suspected cholera cases and 532 deaths have been reported in 253 districts.

This is an increase of 10 000 cases since 27 April 2017, with Yemen's health system unable to cope with the scale of the emergency.
